how i'm really doing

privacy

small footprint, honest boundaries

This app is built for anonymous emotional sharing. It keeps the public data small on purpose and avoids storing the parts that would make a share feel personally identifying.

what gets stored

When you join the cloud, the public record stores a normalized feeling word, a few tags, a timestamp, and an approximate location if your network provides one. Locations are jittered before storage and may fall back to a country-level point or no map dot at all.

what does not get stored

Your raw text is used to moderate and normalize the share, then discarded. Uploaded photos stay in your browser for image generation and are not sent to the server. There are no accounts, names, profile pages, or exact location records.

moderation and support

Share text is checked before it can enter the public cloud. If the text sounds like a crisis or self-harm moment, the app may show support resources, but the public share remains limited to the normalized feeling word and tags.

rate limits and analytics

To slow spam, the server hashes your IP address with a private salt for short-lived rate limiting. Analytics are day-bucket counts such as cloud views, map views, share page views, and shares created. Analytics do not store raw text, IP addresses, names, or device identifiers.

retention and deletion

Share records are designed to expire after about 90 days. Hourly and daily aggregate counters expire sooner or after the cloud window passes. The delete token returned when you post can remove the share record and decrement live counters.
